Daniel Gutierrez has been dancing for five years since the young age of 13. He started out as a popper first teaching himself then under his first teacher Sammy Ramirez. Not long after his first year of training, Daniel started doing choreography and has since been training in both popping and choreography. He has been fortunate to dance on teams like: Academy of Villains, Hungry Bumz, and most recently co-directs The Gooniez. He has performed and taught at many events and studios all around the bay area. As Daniel continues his training, he looks forward to growing as a Dancer, a Teacher, and an Entertainer while sharing his love and knowledge of dance with others.
Gerick Catimbang has been dancing for five years since his sophomore year in high school where he met his very first teacher Bibi Khalili through his high school’s hip hop team. And since his graduation, Gerick assists Bibi with the high school team. Gerick has had the pleasure of training under people like Bibi Khalili, Sammy Ramirez, Chirstopher ‘Pharside’ Jennings, and Melvin Jansen Ang (Team Vibe Pilipinas). He currently is one of the artistic directors of The Gooniez. As Gerick continues dancing he hopes to work more behind the scenes, planning and organizing big events like DAMSF or Carnival.
